16-year-old boy fatally shot close to Chicago vacationer attraction



CHICAGO (AP) — A 16-year-old boy was fatally shot close to “The Bean” in Millennium Park in Chicago on Saturday, authorities stated.

The Chicago Police Department stated the boy was shot within the chest at about 7:30 p.m. close to the favored vacationer attraction. Police haven’t but recognized the boy.

He was taken to Lurie Children’s Hospital the place he was pronounced lifeless, police stated.

At least two suspects have been taken in for questioning and a minimum of two weapons have been recovered, authorities stated.

An investigation is ongoing. Police didn’t present any further data.
