ST. LOUIS (KTVI) — A 63-year-old St. Louis lady has died lower than a month after having scorching oil dumped on her.
According to a spokesperson for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the assault occurred simply after midnight on March 7 at an assisted-living facility situated within the Walnut Park East neighborhood.
The lady, recognized as Doren Davis, was rushed to a neighborhood hospital to be handled for extreme burns. Officers realized Davis and the suspect within the incident have been roommates.
Police stated the roommate advised officers she was upset with Davis over a private matter and admitted to pouring scorching cooking oil on Davis.
Davis died of her accidents Sunday. The St. Louis Medical Examiner’s Office dominated the way of demise as a murder.
The roommate was arrested the day of the assault and stays in custody with the Missouri Department of Corrections.
