Hurricane Fiona, a category 3 hurricane with winds of 115 MPH, gusts to 140 MPH. Turks & Caicos taking the brunt of the rain and wind today. Forecast track takes Fiona to Bermuda later this week and then a pass well East of our area. High surf and dangerous currents late week and early weekend at South facing beaches. With high pressure building in from the West and Fiona well to our East, breezy conditions expected Friday through Sunday, but certainly not tropical storm or hurricane force winds. Gusts 25-30 MPH expected.
