Thursday, HAPPY FALL! Fall arrives at 9:04 P.M. Showers and thunderstorms likely. Heavy rain and gusty winds associated with thunderstorm activity can be expected. Low to mid 70s. Thursday night, quick clearing and a quick drop in temps. Mid to upper 40s.

First Day Of Autumn

Friday, sunny, cool and breezy. Well below average for this time of year with a high temp only reaching the 50s to near 60°. A Northwest breeze up to 30 MPH will make it feel even cooler during the afternoon. Friday night, still breezy and very cool for this time of year. Upper 30s and low 40s.

Saturday, sunny, breezy and cool. Mid to upper 60s. Northwest wind gusts to 20 MPH. Saturday night, clear and not quite as cool. Upper 40s and low 50s.

Sunday, sunny and breezy. Low to mid 70s. Sunday night, a few showers. Mid to upper 50s.

Monday, a chance of showers. Around 70°.

Tuesday, mostly sunny. Mid to upper 60s.

Tropical Update:

Hurricane Fiona, a category 3 hurricane with winds of 115 MPH, gusts to 140 MPH. Turks & Caicos taking the brunt of the rain and wind today. Forecast track takes Fiona to Bermuda later this week and then a pass well East of our area. High surf and dangerous currents late week and early weekend at South facing beaches. With high pressure building in from the West and Fiona well to our East, breezy conditions expected Friday through Sunday, but certainly not tropical storm or hurricane force winds. Gusts 25-30 MPH expected.
