Dumpster truck hits Pawtucket medical workplace, causes partial collapse

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Pawtucket police stated {that a} medical workplace partially collapsed after a dumpster truck hit it Friday morning.

The crash occurred at about 9 a.m. on the Lifespan Cardiovascular Institute on East Avenue.

An ABC 6 News crew on the scene noticed a gap on the facet of the constructing.

Fire Chief William Conroy informed ABC 6 the constructing was evacuated. A constructing inspector deemed it protected for employees to return inside.

National Grid crews had been referred to as to revive energy.

No accidents had been reported.
