Fire breaks out at Fall River house

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) — No accidents had been reported after Fall River firefighters made fast work of a home fireplace on Wooley Street Monday afternoon.

David Jennings Jr., performing district chief for the Fall River Fire Department, stated the flames had been focused on the porch and unfold to the roof. The exterior of the constructing sustained many of the injury.

The fireplace melted a part of the facility traces overhead, inflicting them to spark, in keeping with Jennings.

The fireplace was below management inside about quarter-hour. No phrase but on the reason for the hearth or whether or not the residents had been displaced.
