Ghana: GAHA League – Air Force, Police, Navy Win

Defending Greater Accra Handball Association (GAHA) league champions, Air Force started the defence of the title on a successful observe, beating Legonite 48-23 on the Legon courts over the weekend.

Air Force led their host on the break with some inter-positional play which left their youthful opponents chasing shadows.

The host got here in strongly within the second half however remained second fiddle to their company.

Ghana Police defeated El-Wak Wings 39-24 of their sport performed on the Burma Camp Handball Courts whereas Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) accounted for University of Ghana 42-33 on the Legon Courts.

Ghana Navy beat Kasland 35-21 whereas Ghana Prisons edged out Kaneshie 36-23 on the Prisons Handball Court.

In the feminine class, Fire Service beat University of Ghana 25-15 with Ghana Navy defeating Kasland 31-12.

The video games involving Cantonment Youth versus Ghana Army in each female and male classes had been rained off.

Week two would see Ghana Prisons host Cantonment Youth in each female and male divisions.

Elsewhere, Ghana Navy will face Police in each divisions whereas Ghana Army faces Fire Service with Kasland arising towards Ghana Air Force.
