Girl discovered lifeless at Scots retail park as police launch probe into unexplained dying

Police have launched a probe after an aged girl was discovered lifeless outdoors a store in Lanarkshire this afternoon.

Cops have been referred to as to Currys in Birkenshaw Trading Estate, Uddingston, at round 2.30pm after a 75-year-old feminine died all of a sudden outdoors the shop.

Pictures from the scene confirmed a heavy police presence within the retail park as officers started finishing up their investigations.

The pensioner’s dying is at the moment being handled as unexplained, however police have mentioned there don’t look like any suspicious circumstances.

A Police Scotland spokesperson mentioned: “We were made aware of the sudden death of a 75-year-old woman outside a premises in Birkenshaw Trading Estate around 2.30pm on Friday, 8 April.

“The death is currently being treated as unexplained but there are no suspicious circumstances. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
