A District Constable has been positioned earlier than the Westmoreland Parish Court, by the use of summons, to reply to fees of Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm after he was concerned in an off-duty incident with a lady at a home in Negril.
Reports are that fees had been laid in opposition to DC Kimarlo Woodstock on Tuesday, May 10, following an investigation and advice by the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) and a ruling by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP).
Detectives from INDECOM stated the District Constable Woodstock was charged in relation to the off-duty assault of a lady at a home in Negril, Westmoreland in March 2020.
The lady was handled on the Savanna-la-mar Hospital for accidents sustained.
