Las Vegas music competition resumes after crowds rush exit



LAS VEGAS (AP) — A music competition in Las Vegas has resumed after a “security incident” briefly halted performances on Saturday, authorities mentioned.

Las Vegas police mentioned in apost on Twitter that performances have continued on the Lovers & Friends Festival after a report of pictures fired was unfounded.

“At this time, there is no evidence of a shooting,” the publish mentioned.

KSNV-TVreported that three folks had been taken to native hospitals with minor accidents after crowds rushed from the Las Vegas Festival Grounds.

Festival organizers displayed a message on screens within the venue that mentioned there was a safety incident, authorities had been investigating and to stay in place, officers mentioned.

The two-day competition options a number of R&B and rap artists, together with Usher, Ludacris and Ne-Yo. The competition started Saturday.
