A justice of the peace (JP) was reportedly robbed and assaulted in Red Hills, St Andrew final Friday.
Following the incident, 4 males, together with two youngsters, have been taken into custody. They have since been charged with theft with aggravation, indecent assault and assault occasioning bodily hurt.
Those charged are a 17-year-old of a St Thomas tackle; 38-year-old Troy Williams of Burnside Valley district, Red Hills in St Andrew; 24-year-old Devaye Stewart of Delacree Park, St Andrew; and 18-year-old Nickel Hutchinson of Pouyatt Street, Kingston 12.
The 17-year-old has not been named due to his age.
Reports from the police are that about 4:30 pm on Friday, April 15, the JP went to the house of Williams to gather an merchandise. He reportedly entered the premises, the place he was robbed and assaulted by all 4 males.
The now accused individuals then allegedly took the sufferer to a piece of Red Hills Road, the place they left him.
The JP reported the matter to the police, and all 4 suspects have been subsequently arrested and later charged.
Their court docket date is being finalised.
