Man apprehended in St Elizabeth lotto scam operation


Detectives assigned to the St. Elizabeth Divison arrested and charged a man with knowingly possessing identity information after an operation in the parish on Tuesday, February 22.

 He is 22-year-old  Keefer Facey, a businessman of  Gazeland district, St. Elizabeth.

Reports are that about 5:20 a.m., an operation was carried out at Facey’s residence. The house was searched and two cellular phones and two laptops were seized. An onsite analysis was conducted on each device and numerous lottery scamming paraphernalia including, international person’s names and contact information was discovered.

The man was arrested and charged and will appear before the  St. Elizabeth  Parish Court on  Monday, February 28.
