Minnesota GOP endorses Scott Jensen for governor – Duluth Information Tribune


ROCHESTER, Minn. — Gubernatorial candidate Scott Jensen has gained the endorsement of the Minnesota Republican Party on the state celebration conference in Rochester.

Jensen, a household apply doctor and former state senator skeptical of COVID-19 lockdowns and vaccine mandates, bested 4 different candidates after 9 rounds of voting among the many greater than 2,000 delegates on the conference.

Republican candidates for governor have pledged to honor the endorsement and step apart for the celebration’s favored candidate. Assuming all abide by the settlement, Jensen would be the Republican difficult Democratic-Farmer-Labor Gov. Tim Walz within the November common election.
