Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has announced that a host of mask rules will stop on Friday, March 4, at 6pm.

However, that doesn’t mean masks are gone for good.

Queenslanders will still need to wear one on public transport and planes and in hospitals, disability care centres, prisons, aged care centres, and airports.

Density limits will also be scrapped in all food courts, hairdressers, weddings, funerals, gyms, private venues and universities.
