MIDDLETOWN — Rite-Solutions was not too long ago chosen as one in all 17 firms that can take part in a five-year, $73.7 million contract to assist the U.S. Navy develop future generations of its Undersea Weapons Family of Systems.

The contract, introduced by the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport, will develop core applied sciences in 12 practical areas reminiscent of payloads, propulsion, energy storage and conversion, car management, and command and management.
The naval heart will launch task-order requests for proposals in particular or mixed practical areas on which firms that obtained awards might bid. Unlike contracts that supply a completed product from a single firm, the naval heart will obtain elements from a number of firms.
As with the weapons methods contract, Rite-Solutions is a primary contractor alongside different firms within the aerospace and protection trade with demonstrated experience in Undersea Warfare.
