School bus driver terminated after altercation with college students


TO THE HOSPITAL. A GREENVILLE COUNTY SCHOOL BUS DRIVER HAS BEEN FIRED AFTER AN INCIDENT ON THE BUS. THAT’S ACCORDING TO THE DISTRICT OFFICIALS SAY THERE WAS AN ALTERCATION INVOLVING THE BUS DRIVERND A MULTIPLE STUDENTS YESTERDAY AFTERNOON. THE DISTRICT SAYS NO STUDENTS DHA ANY KNOWN INJURIES. A Greenville County Schools bus driver has been terminated after an incident on a college bus, based on the district.On Friday afternoon, the district says there was an altercation on a bus involving the bus driver and a number of college students. “To our knowledge, thankfully, no students were injured. The driver was transported to the hospital where he was assessed, treated and released,” district spokesman Tim Waller stated. The district says legislation enforcement can be concerned within the investigation. “The initial investigation clearly indicates that the bus driver did not act in compliance with the district’s policies and expectations, and consequently, the driver is no longer employed with the district,” Waller stated. The incident stays below investigation by each legislation enforcement and the district.”The district couldn’t verify which faculty this bus was serving.
