Signups proceed for Northmen 5K on April 30 at NSHS | Sports activities

NORTH SMITHFIELD – Back on the highway racing schedule for the primary time in six years, the Northmen 5K will return to North Smithfield High on Saturday, April 30, at 9 a.m., and runners and walkers can go to to enroll.

North Smithfield High senior Calla Puccetti, who’s a captain on the college’s ladies’ basketball workforce, is bringing again the race as her senior mission for commencement. The proceeds from the occasion will go towards Operation Stand Down, a non-profit group that gives help to homeless and at-risk Rhode Island veterans.

The charges are $30 for adults, $25 for college students, and $22 for veterans.
