Local rock bands Harper’s Gambit and Social Void will share the invoice at Tin Roof Charleston with Nashville-based exploratory rock trio Sound&Shape at 9 p.m. May 23.
With influences together with Wilco and My Morning Jacket, Harper’s Gambit got here onto the Charleston scene in 2020 with its straightforward listening indie rock. The band consists of bassist/vocalist Jake Schoenberg, guitarist/vocalist Derek Tuck and drummer Brandon Bryant.
Emerging rock band Social Void debuted in 2017 with Propeller and have since launched Resurrection Choir in 2020.
Sound&Shape has a large discography of self-released materials in addition to a brand new 2022 album Disaster Medicine. The band consists of brothers Chip (guitar/vocals) and Brent (bass/vocals) Cooley, keyboardist Elijah Kuzia, guitarist Quell Graham, drummer Josh Cronin.
The 9 p.m. present is 21+ and $10 on the door.
