Tuesday headlines: World says farewell to Queen Elizabeth II


As billions of people across the world watched the funeral of British Queen Elizabeth II, mourners crowded London streets to get a glimpse of the funeral process filled with pomp and circumstance. After a funeral in Westminster Abbey, she was laid to rest at Windsor Castle.

In South Carolina, some mourners donned black outfits and hats to watch the broadcast. At Charleston Place hotel, a dozen said goodbye and honored her legacy at a special tea in a club.
