Younger man rushed to hospital with critical accidents after crash on busy Glasgow road

A younger man has suffered critical accidents following a crash on a busy Glasgow street.

The 23-year-old was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for remedy after being damage on Haywood Street.

Emergency providers had been known as to the scene at round 2.40pm on Tuesday following studies of a two car crash – with one understood to be an electrical scooter or bike.

Officers closed the street close to the junction with Ashgill Road whereas they carried out enquiries.

The road was reopened shortly earlier than 4.30pm.

A Police Scotland spokesperson mentioned: “Officers received report of a two-vehicle crash on Haywood Street in Glasgow around 2.40pm on Monday, 20 June, 2022.

“Emergency services attended and a 23-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment for serious injuries.

“The road was re-opened around 4.25pm.”
